The Pilates class provides an intensive deep muscle workout, with a particular focus on the core area. The workout strengthens the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and back muscles, and includes breathing exercises. Slow, fluid and precise movements promote good body posture, slim the figure and flatten the stomach.

Pilates is the ideal preparation for enjoying mountain activities to the full. By strengthening deep muscles and improving balance, it prepares the body to tackle varied terrain and prolonged effort. What's more, the mastery of breathing and the flexibility you acquire mean you can move with ease, even at altitude.
Pilates exercises develop proprioception and balance, which are essential for safe riding on technical paths or steep slopes.
By strengthening the body in a harmonious way and improving flexibility, Pilates helps to reduce the risk of injuries such as sprains or muscle pain.
The mountains put a particular strain on the lower body and back, particularly when carrying bags or on long hikes. Pilates strengthens these areas to help you cope with the strain.

Meet
My career combines sport, well-being and adventure. I hold a Brevet d'État d'Éducateur Sportif (state diploma in sports education), and have enhanced my skills with certifications in Pilates Matwork. The Navigator's Certificate has broadened my horizons, while my ongoing training in mountain activities allows me to share experiences in the great outdoors. All of this reflects my ongoing commitment to helping others in their quest for well-being and self-improvement.
